Two Palestinians were killed and several others injured, some seriously, in an Israeli drone strike at a civilian vehicle west of Gaza City, according to eyewitnesses and Mahmoud Basal, spokesperson for the Civil Defense in Gaza.

A nine-year-old, identified as Adel al-Najjar, was killed in an Israeli drone strike targeting a group of Palestinians east of Khan Younis, southern Gaza, Palestinian medical sources said.

Meanwhile, a woman was injured by Israeli army fire in the town of Beit Lahia, northern Gaza.

There was no immediate comment from the Israeli side regarding the incidents.

Sporadic Israeli attacks in Gaza have been reported from time to time despite a ceasefire that took effect in October 2025.

Gaza-based health authorities said Tuesday that the death toll since the latest ceasefire has reached 818, with 2,301 injuries, bringing the overall death toll in Gaza since October 2023 to 72,594, with 172,404 injuries.
