YANGON, May 7 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar exported over 1,006 tons of honey in the 2025-26 fiscal year, earning over 1.5 million U.S. dollars from the exports, an official from the Apiculture Division under the Livestock Breeding and Veterinary Department told Xinhua on Thursday.

The country mainly exports honey to China, Japan and Thailand, he said.

The country exported more than 1,800 tons of honey in the 2024-25 fiscal year, he added.
