NEW DELHI, May 11 (Xinhua) -- Two Indian nationals aboard a hantavirus-hit ship are safe and asymptomatic, officials said Monday.

The information was shared by the Indian embassy in Madrid, Spain, in a statement issued on Sunday night on social media.
The embassy said that it was informed by the Spanish National Center for Emergency Monitoring and Coordination that the two Indian nationals who were traveling as crew members have been evacuated to the Netherlands, where they will be quarantined as per relevant health safety protocol.
"The Ambassador is in close contact with the Spanish authorities and the two Indian nationals (crew members) and is regularly monitoring the situation to assure the well-being and safety of the Indian nationals," the statement read.
