JERUSALEM, May 17 (Xinhua) -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Sunday it had killed Bahaa Baroud, a commander in Hamas' operations headquarters.

According to the IDF, Baroud had been involved in planning and advancing multiple attacks targeting Israeli troops and civilians.
