Following the interception, air raid sirens were activated in the Israeli border town of Metula, forcing thousands of residents to rush to shelters.

On Thursday, 10 people were killed and several were wounded in a series of Israeli strikes throughout southern and eastern Lebanon, according to Lebanese official sources.
