HONG KONG, June 16 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.8 jolted Sulawesi, Indonesia, at 03:27:45 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 1.13 degrees south latitude and 120.25 degrees east longitude.
