BEIJING, June 18 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.7 jolted the central Mid-Atlantic Ridge at 1856 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 0.41 degrees south latitude and 20.00 degrees west longitude.
