JERUSALEM, June 19 (Xinhua) -- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said on Friday that it had struck Hezbollah infrastructure in Lebanon's eastern Bekaa Valley, according to a report by The Times of Israel.

The fighting intensified as at least 18 people were killed in Israeli airstrikes on residential areas in southern Lebanon's Nabatieh district early Friday, Lebanon's National News Agency reported. The Israeli military also reported that four soldiers were killed after Hezbollah attacked Israeli troops in southern Lebanon overnight.
