ISLAMABAD, June 22 (Xinhua) -- Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has departed for home after completing his visit to Switzerland, the Prime Minister's Office said on Monday.

During the visit, the prime minister and Chief of Army Staff Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir attended high-level talks in Burgenstock on June 21, focusing on the implementation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, which was signed to advance the peace process between the United States and Iran.

The discussions were held at a senior level as part of ongoing engagement on matters related to the understandings reached between relevant stakeholders, it added.
