BEIRUT, June 25 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed, and one was injured on Thursday in an Israeli drone strike targeting a vehicle on a road in southern Lebanon, according to Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA).

NNA said an Israeli drone struck a vehicle traveling on the road in the Nabatieh district in southern Lebanon, killing three people and wounding another.

According to Lebanon's Public Health Emergency Operations Center, the cumulative death toll from the Israeli attacks since March 2 has risen to 4,230, with 12,179 others injured as of Thursday.

The incidents occurred despite a ceasefire following U.S.-mediated efforts to halt hostilities between Israel and Hezbollah, although violations have continued to be reported by both sides.
