BEIRUT, June 26 (Xinhua) -- One person was killed and another injured early Friday following a blast caused by an unexploded remnant in the southern Lebanese town of al-Mansouri, as Israeli forces continued airstrikes, shelling, and military operations across southern Lebanon, according to Lebanese official sources.

Also on Friday morning, at around 7:30 a.m. local time (0430 GMT), Israeli warplanes carried out a two-wave airstrike targeting the outskirts of southern Lebanon's Nabatieh district, according to Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA).
Separately on Friday, Israeli forces carried out operations and set fire to homes in the southern Lebanese border town of Markaba in the Marjeyoun district, it said.
An Israeli drone was also reported flying over the Lebanese capital, Beirut, on Friday, according to NNA.
