12 Polish tourists injured in bus crash in Türkiye: Polish FM spokesman

WARSAW, July 1 (Xinhua) -- Twelve Polish tourists were injured after a car collided with a bus carrying Polish citizens in Antalya, Türkiye, a Polish Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Wednesday.

The spokesman, Maciej Wewior, told local media TVN24 that 30 Polish citizens were traveling on the bus when the accident occurred. Twelve of them sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital.
According to Wewior, a Polish consul was in contact with local medical facilities and the tour operator.
Turkish media reported that the driver of the car was killed in the crash, and the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
