World leaders congratulate Communist Party of China on 105th anniversary

Leaders of political parties and governments from around the world have sent congratulatory messages to the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s 105th founding anniversary, praising China's development under the CPC and expressing support for closer ties with China.

Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, said the CPC has led China through numerous challenges, advanced socialism with Chinese characteristics and opened a brilliant new chapter in the history of the Chinese nation's development.

Indonesian President and Great Indonesia Movement Party General Chairman Prabowo Subianto said China has developed into an advanced, strong and distinctive country under the CPC's leadership, adding that the CPC's success in lifting people out of poverty and improving livelihoods serves as a model for his party.

Maldivian President and People's National Congress leader Mohamed Muizzu said the CPC had enabled China to lift hundreds of millions of people out of poverty and become a global economic power. He thanked China for supporting the Maldives' development and said deepening ties between the two parties was more important than ever amid a complex international environment.

Turkish President and Justice and Development Party leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan said China had achieved remarkable global development under the CPC's leadership. He praised the China-proposed initiatives for promoting global stability and prosperity and said his party hoped to strengthen exchanges with the CPC and deepen bilateral cooperation.

Mahmoud Abbas, president of Palestine and chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization Executive Committee, praised China's achievements and thanked Beijing for its longstanding support for the Palestinian cause. He reaffirmed support for the one-China principle and China's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Kenyan President and United Democratic Alliance leader William Ruto said CPC's achievements have prompted countries in the Global South to rethink approaches to national development and governance, while further strengthening Kenya's resolve to pursue a path of transformative growth.

Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said the CPC has demonstrated an outstanding ability to address complex global challenges while maintaining political continuity and long-term stability. He said the four global initiatives proposed by China would strengthen international cooperation and promote a fairer world order.

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said the CPC had led China to rapid development over the past 105 years, with its resilience offering hope to those committed to peace, development and multilateralism. He said Serbia was proud of its ironclad friendship with China and supported implementing global initiatives proposed by China.

Nauruan President David Adeang said the CPC has played a vital role in China's transformation, prosperity and improvements in people's well-being over the past 105 years. He said Nauru would continue strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation with China.

Malaysian Prime Minister and People's Justice Party President Anwar Ibrahim said the ideals that began in Shanghai more than a century ago have become a vivid reality for the Chinese nation. He said the CPC has drawn on China's rich civilization while carrying forward its cultural heritage.

Singaporean Prime Minister and People's Action Party Secretary-General Lawrence Wong said China's profound transformation over the past century stemmed from the CPC's people-centered governance philosophy. He said both parties shared commitments to serving the people and clean governance, and looked forward to expanding cooperation.

Vanuatu Prime Minister and Leaders Party President Jotham Napat said the CPC has maintained its vitality through strong leadership, resilience and commitment to the people, leading China through profound transformation while contributing to world peace and development.

Samoan Prime Minister and Samoa United in Faith Party leader Laʻauli Leuatea Schmidt praised China's 15th Five-Year Plan and said it would further promote the country's long-term stability and high-quality development under the CPC's leadership.
