Cuba’s power grid collapsed on Tuesday, July 14, for the third time in less than ten days, leaving more than nine million people in the dark for hours.

The constant disconnections, caused by technical failures in the network of thermal plants, worsen the everyday hardships and distress of the Cuban people, under a current economic crisis.
