Seasonally adjusted, Slovakia's GDP rose by 0.8 percent in yearly terms, while it increased by 0.2 percent quarter-on-quarter.

GDP volume in current prices rose by 1.7 billion euros (1.9 billion U.S. dollars) year-on-year to reach 35.9 billion euros (41.4 billion dollars). When calculated in fixed prices, GDP amounted to 26.4 billion euros (30.5 billion dollars), which is an increase of nearly 187.5 million euros (216.6 million dollars) year-on-year.

The GDP growth in fixed prices in the second quarter was mainly driven by higher final consumption, according to the estimate.
