Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic visited the construction site of the Expo Center on Friday, a venue built by a Chinese company for EXPO 2027 Belgrade. During the visit, Vucic shared breakfast with Chinese and Serbian workers. He said the project had entered its final construction and interior finishing stages, urging all parties to overcome remaining challenges and ensure timely completion.

Vucic said friendship and bilateral cooperation between Serbia and China will remain strong and enduring, and that the bond between the two countries is unbreakable.

Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Li Ming, who accompanied Vucic, said China will actively support and participate in EXPO 2027 Belgrade and stands ready to work with Serbia to ensure timely, high-quality completion of the Expo Center project.

According to the contractor, the project is expected to be handed over by the end of this year.

EXPO 2027 Belgrade will be held in Belgrade from May 15 to August 15, 2027.

The project has a total floor area of approximately 172,000 square meters, including exhibition halls, corridors, warehouses and public facilities. It is being built by Power Construction Corporation of China (PowerChina).
