At least 42 children injured in Kabul education center blast: UNAMA

KABUL, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- The United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) said on its social media account Tuesday night that at least 42 children aged between 9 and 14 years old were injured in an explosion at an education center in Kabul on Monday.
UNAMA said their thoughts are with the children injured and their families while calling for an investigation to establish the circumstances of this incident. It also stressed that schools and education centers must be kept safe.
No group or individual has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
