BNPB acting data and communications chief Berton Panjaitan said four additional deaths were confirmed Thursday, bringing the death toll to 75.
The number of displaced people has risen to 92,735 as persistent aftershocks prompted residents to leave damaged or potentially unsafe buildings.
Indonesia's Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has recorded 3,752 aftershocks since the Aug. 15 mainshock, including a magnitude-5.7 tremor felt Thursday morning.
Panjaitan urged residents to remain vigilant and check the structural safety of buildings before returning home. BMKG said aftershock activity could take three to four weeks to subside.
