BEIJING, Aug. 28 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 jolted Eastern Gulf of Aden at 2107 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 13.22 degrees north latitude and 50.44 degrees east longitude.
