GAZA, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- Three Palestinians were killed on Monday in an Israeli strike targeting a vehicle in Gaza City, according to Palestinian medical sources.

Local sources and eyewitnesses told Xinhua that an Israeli drone fired at least one missile at a civilian vehicle in the Tel al-Hawa neighborhood in southwestern Gaza City, causing casualties.

Medical sources at Al-Shifa Hospital confirmed that three Palestinians were killed in the strike.

The Israeli military has not commented on the incident. Israel's Channel 12 reported that the Israeli Air Force targeted a vehicle in Gaza City but provided no further details.

Earlier Monday, two Palestinians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the entrance of a residential building near the Municipal Park in central Gaza City, according to Palestinian sources.
