Cairo and Yiwu are nearly 9,000 kilometers apart. However, following a product or a trader shuttling between them, the distance suddenly feels much smaller. From a factory floor in Yiwu to a warehouse in Cairo, from goods made in China to industries taking root in Egypt – the ties between these two countries are becoming part of everyday life.
