WASHINGTON, Sept. 1 (Xinhua) -- US forces on Tuesday launched fresh strikes on targets of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in Iran, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said.

"Today at 12 p.m. ET, US forces began striking Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) targets in Iran," the CENTCOM said on X.
