5.1-magnitude quake hits 81 km ESE of Isangel, Vanuatu: USGS

BEIJING, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 81 km ESE of Isangel, Vanuatu at 1718 GMT on Wednesday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 19.72 degrees south latitude and 170.04 degrees east longitude.
