Google Cloud opens first Southeast Asia engineering center in Singapore

SINGAPORE, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- Google Cloud on Tuesday opened its Singapore Engineering Center, a product development hub in Southeast Asia and the company's first engineering center in the region.

The company said in a statement that the center brings together software engineers specializing in artificial intelligence (AI), AI infrastructure, data, computing, machine learning, networking and storage, as well as frontline support.

The center will work with enterprises to develop cloud systems and solutions for deployment in Singapore and other markets, Google Cloud said.
