5.3-magnitude quake hits Talaud Islands, Indonesia: GFZ

BEIJING, Sept. 22 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Talaud Islands, Indonesia at 2348 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 4.54 degrees north latitude and 125.49 degrees east longitude.
