Singapore's economic growth is projected to moderate to 4.8 percent in 2026 and around 3.1 percent in 2027 from 5 percent in 2025, the ASEAN+3 Macroeconomic Research Office (AMRO) said on Wednesday.

Growth momentum is expected to remain supported by robust demand for artificial intelligence (AI)-related products, sustaining electronics exports and investment, AMRO said in its annual consultation report.

AMRO said exports and investment would continue to benefit from strong global demand for AI-related products.

However, higher global oil prices and weaker global demand stemming from the conflict in the Middle East are expected to weigh on economic growth.

Singapore's real GDP growth accelerated to 6.1 percent year-on-year in the first half of 2026, from 5.1 percent in the second half of 2025, driven by an electronics upcycle led by AI demand.
