Grenada to hold general elections on Nov. 5

MEXICO CITY, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- Grenada will hold general elections on Nov. 5, according to a release on its government's Gazette.

The notice issued Saturday also set Oct. 15 for the formal submission of candidate nomination documents.

Local media reported that Grenadian Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell would formally announce the election date on Monday.

The Caribbean country's last elections were held in June 2022.
