BEIJING, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted near east coast of Honshu, Japan at 1913 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 66.1 km, was initially determined to be at 35.53 degrees north latitude and 140.56 degrees east longitude.
