S. Korea recalls ambassador to Ukraine

SEOUL, Oct. 8 (Xinhua) -- South Korea's foreign ministry said Thursday that it decided to recall its ambassador to Ukraine back to the home country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a brief statement that the government hoped for a smooth resolution to the various pending issues between the two countries, adding that Seoul will continue consultations with the Ukrainian side to address the issues.
