MOSCOW, Oct. 9 (Xinhua) -- Part of the infrastructure at Russia's Yandex data center in Kaluga, southwest of Moscow, was damaged by a drone attack, with several modules completely disabled, reported TASS news agency on Friday morning, citing information provided by the company.

"Some Yandex services may operate with disruptions," Yandex, a leading Russian technology company, said in a statement. "The full extent of the damage is currently being assessed."

Emergency personnel and company specialists are working at the site. Yandex said no casualties had been reported.

One day before, a drone attack on a Yandex data center in Russia's Ryazan region caused a fire and forced the facility to suspend operations, disrupting some of the company's digital services in Russia, Yandex said, while Russian authorities attributed the attack to Ukraine.

Separately, Russian users also reported temporary disruptions to other Internet services, banking platforms and telecommunications networks.
