5.0-magnitude quake hits Near East Coast of Kamchatka: GFZ

BEIJING, Oct. 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Near East Coast of Kamchatka at 2320 GMT on Wednesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 53.90 degrees north latitude and 158.28 degrees east longitude.
