BRATISLAVA, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- Slovakia's economy in 2025 grew slightly faster compared with the initial annual data published in March 2026, with GDP growth in fixed prices revised upwards to 0.9 percent from 0.8 percent, Slovak Statistics Office reported on Tuesday.

The revised GDP at constant prices reached 106.4 billion euros (119.45 billion U.S. dollars) in 2025, an increase of 1.3 billion euros (1.46 billion dollars) from the initial estimate, according to the office.

The revision also showed stronger economic growth in previous years. Slovakia's GDP growth in 2024 was revised up to 2.6 percent from the original 1.9 percent, while the growth rate for 2023 was raised to 2.5 percent from 2.1 percent.

The adjustments were based on a routine revision of national accounts, incorporating final annual surveys of indicators used to calculate GDP, the office said.
