White House says Russia, Ukraine agree on ceasefire in Oleshky

WASHINGTON, Oct. 23 (Xinhua) -- U.S. First Lady Melania Trump secured a ceasefire between Russia and Ukraine in the city of Oleshky, with the two sides agreeing to temporarily stop all military action, the White House said Friday in a statement.

The localized ceasefire will begin on Oct. 29, it said.
