The "My Ras Al Khaimah – Where Mountains Meet the Sea" art competition was organized in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, as part of a cultural exchange program between the two regions, held on the sidelines of the opening of Ras Al Khaimah's first business consultancy office in China.
Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi honored the young winners in person during his October 21 visit to Guangzhou.
About 200 students from Guangzhou, aged 11 to 15, took part in the contest. The emirate selected 12 winning pieces for inclusion in its official 2027 calendar. Drawing inspiration from research and imagination, the students depicted Ras Al Khaimah’s iconic mountain landscapes, coastlines, and cultural heritage.
