The European Union (EU) is going ahead with efforts to provide Jordan with 500 million euros (549 million U.S. dollars) soft loan before the end of the year, Mogherini said Monday.

She made the remarks at a press conference with Jordan's Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi in Amman, where they looked into ties and regional developments.
