Finland's former president couple diagnosed with COVID-19

HELSINKI, March 24 (Xinhua) -- Former Finnish President Martti Ahtisaari tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday but remains in good condition.

Earlier on Saturday, the Office of the President reported that Ahtisaari's wife Eeva had tested positive for the disease and described her condition as good.
The couple is 82 years old.
On March. 8, Eeva attended an International Women's Day concert at Helsinki Music Centre, where one participant had tested positive for COVID-19, according to Finish commercial broadcaster MTV.
Martti Ahtisaari, Finland's 10th president, was in office from 1994 to 2000. He received the Nobel Peace Prize in December 2008 for his international peace efforts.
