Paris (People’s Daily) -- A fifth case of coronavirus was confirmed in France on Wednesday.

French health minister Agnès Buzyn made the announcement during a daily press conference, adding the patient was the daughter of an 80-year old man already hospitalized with the disease.

The woman is now in intensive care.

France confirmed its first three cases of the Wuhan coronavirus last Friday and a fourth case on Tuesday.
