Paris (People’s Daily) – The French ministry of solidarity and health has announced that as of Wednesday, there were 1404 new cases of COVID-19 in the country.

There is now a total of 9134 diagnosed cases in France, of which 931 were severe, 264 were fatal and 1,000 were cured.

The ministry said the blood bank inventory was less than 15 days and it urged people to donate blood.

French Foreign Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian told the French media that, “We brought our form of solidarity to China by delivering protective equipment.

“The Chinese, who are beginning to emerge from these difficulties, are beginning to return that solidarity to us. An aircraft with equipment landed this morning and another will arrive tomorrow.

“There are roughly a million masks. It’s a gesture that must be appreciated.”
