"France and Germany made progress in a coordinated way on the border control: as a result of my talk with Horst Seehofer (German Interior Minister) yesterday, we are keeping the traffic restrictions together... until June 15, with some relaxation of measures to help the daily lives," said Castaner on twitter.

Earlier in the day, Seehofer said Germany will start to tentatively relax some border controls, with the aim of having free travel in Europe from mid-June.
