Moscow (People’s Daily) – China’s electronic giant Hisense unveils its flagship ULED TV on Sunday on the eve of the World Cup final in Moscow, as the Qingdao-based company aims to further strengthen its market growth.

Hisense, an official sponsor of the FIFA World Cup, is riding on the tide through sports marketing, as its brand awareness increases quickly during the World Cup.

The newly unveiled U9D has its dynamic backlight partition upgraded to 5,376 zones, considered the most partitioned and most image-refined TV in the world.

“Display technology is the core of Hisense,” said Hisense’s chief scientist Ma Xiaohang. “The launch of the U9D will further establish Hisense’s leading position in global image quality and to make Hisense to become a world-class master of image”.

Domestic reports suggest that Hisense has focused on conducting researches on multi-zone dynamic backlight control, which is considered a key to improve TV image quality.

With the independently developed super-image-quality ULED technology, Hisense has set a new standard for image quality in the global TV industry.

Liu Hongxin, President of Hisense Group, said Hisense has committed to effectiveness as the company is composed of three major business pillars of electronic information, household appliances and intelligent technology.

Hisense, who has set up a branch in Russia, has its World Cup advertisement in Chinese, English, Russian and Japanese, as the company has become a global conglomerate after purchasing stakes of Japan’s Toshiba and Slovenia’s Gorenje Group.
