NEW DELHI, Feb. 17 (Xinhua) -- Presently India doesn't have evacuation plans for its citizens staying in Ukraine, said spokesman of the Ministry of External Affairs Arindam Bagchi on Thursday.
He said that India's embassy in Ukraine continues to function normally providing the required services to the Indians there.

"No immediate evacuation plans, so don't have any special flights. However, there were limited number of flights under air bubble arrangements, restrictions on the number of flights and passengers removed. Indian carriers are being encouraged to operate Chartered flights between India and Ukraine," said Bagchi at the regular press briefing.
Some Western media and politicians have claimed that Russia could "invade" Ukraine on Feb. 16. And yet Moscow has repeatedly denied the accusation, stressing its right to mobilize troops within its borders to defend its territory as the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's (NATO) activities constitute a threat to Russia's border security.
