NEW DELHI, July 23 (Xinhua) -- India's COVID-19 tally rose to 31,293,062 on Friday, as 35,342 new cases were registered during the past 24 hours across the country, according to the federal health ministry's latest data.
Besides, 483 deaths due to the pandemic since Thursday morning took the total death toll to 419,470.
There are still 405,513 active COVID-19 cases in the country and there was a fall of 3,881 cases during the past 24 hours.
A total of 30,468,079 people have been cured and discharged from hospitals so far, out of which 38,740 were discharged during the past 24 hours.
