JAKARTA, Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- The COVID-19 cases in Indonesia rose by 3,874 within one day to 275,213, with the death toll adding by 78 to 10,386, the Health Ministry said on Sunday.

According to the ministry, 3,611 more people were discharged from hospitals, bringing the total number of recovered patients to 203,014.

The virus has spread to all the country's 34 provinces.

Specifically, within the past 24 hours, Jakarta recorded 1,217 new cases, West Java 437, Central Java 258, East Java 220 and West Sumatra 216.

No more new positive cases were found in four provinces, namely Bangka Belitung, Central Sulawesi, Maluku and North Maluku.
