Iran condemns deadly terror attack in Afghan capital

TEHRAN, March 6 (Xinhua) -- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Abbas Mousavi condemned a deadly terrorist attack on a memorial ceremony in the Afghan capital of Kabul on Friday.

Mousavi sympathized with Afghan government and people as well as families of the victims of the "sinister" terrorist attack.

At least 31 people were killed and 55 others injured in the attack on an Afghan political leader's memorial in Kabul.

The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack.
