Cairo (People’s Daily) - Iran's health ministry spokesman said on Thursday the country has 1,046 new cases of coronavirus and 149 new deaths.

The number of total infections has risen to 18,407, with the death toll at 1,284, said the spokesperson. 

As of Thursday, 5,979 people have recovered.
