Iran reports 2,389 new cases of COVID-19

Cairo (People’s Daily) - The Iran government confirmed 2,389 new cases on Thursday morning, bringing the total number of infections to 29,406. 

It also announced 157 new deaths from the novel coronavirus, raising the official number of fatalities to 2,234 in one of the world's worst-hit countries. 10,457 have recovered.
