Cairo (People’s Daily) - Iran had 2,979 new coronavirus infections and 81 new deaths during the past 24 hours, Iran's health ministry spokesman said on Monday.

The number of confirmed cases has risen to 154,445 with the number of deaths at 7,878, and 121,004 people have recovered.
