Iran’s COVID-19 cases pass 50,000

Cairo (People’s Daily) - Iran had 2,875 new infections of COVID-19 and 124 new deaths during the past 24 hours, Iran's health ministry spokesman said Thursday.

The number of confirmed cases has risen to 50,468, with the number of deaths at 3,160. 

16,711 people have recovered, while 3,956 remain in serious and critical condition.
