Iran’s COVID-19 cases rise to 53,183, with 2,715 new infections

Cairo (People's Daily) - Iran had 2,715 new infections of COVID-19 and 134 new deaths during the past 24 hours, said Iran's health ministry spokesman on Friday.

The number of cases has risen to 53,183, with the number of deaths at 3,294. 

17,935 people have recovered, while 4,035 remain in serious and critical condition.
