A total of 500,000 doses of China's Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccines arrived in Iraq, the country's health ministry said on Thursday, adding that the vaccines were distributed to vaccination points.

China is ready to continue to provide support for Iraq in its fight against COVID-19 pandemic, Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said in a phone conversation with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein.
